Turkish Frat Boys

There's something about those Turkish young men. It's not just that they're damn so handsome, but something else... Wanna comment about it?

Ambigiously Gay Bro-mance

This is so common in Turkey that I decided to make it a periodical. This is the first of a series of ambigiously gay Turkish bro-mance.

Of course, there's no guarantee that these sweet straight boys are exclusively innocent behind closed doors when they're left alone - just the two of them. But hey, I'm talking about individuals of a highly conservative and basically homo-phobic culture. Just enjoy the eye-candy for now...

Bromance or Gay Love?

Outside the gay scene in Turkey, which could be considered half-closeted in itself, it is very typical to encounter straight buddies - especially in suburban areas, playing verbally (e.g. wrestling, etc) out of dense intimacy.

Introducing two handsome Turkish hotties, Murat (the dark smooth youngster) and Osman (slim blondish hairy cutie) who make a lovely duo.

Young Turkish pehlivans (oil wrestlers) are resting together after a match. Kirkpinar, Edirne city of Turkey is popular for its oil wrestling sports and the cute brotherly pehlivans.

Bros or Lovers?

Given the high homophobia among the Turkish society, it's hard to tell if these two cuties are just friends having bromance or simply a male couple. As I stated in a previous post, although the rate of homosexual relationships in Turkey is definitely not low, it's not practiced explicitly...

Normally most Turkish gay men are in the closet and even when they have long-term relationships, they remain discreet with their partners outside.

Black Sea Hotties

THe north of Turkey is the Black Sea which also gives the northern region its name. It's also the land of many handsome Turkish men.

Fellow Turkish Young Men

Fraternity is an essential part of Turkish culture as a result of which best friends can verbally be closer to each other than in any other culture. Sometimes this leads to a confusion for foreigners who witness this Turkish bromance to think that they're gay. On the contrary, the Turkish are very homophobic and the real gay couples are mostly discreet.

This photo was taken at a textile market what the Turkish call a bazaar.
